10 WR sleepers to target for fantasy football Week 11
If you need an edge to win your fantasy football matchup in Week 11, consider adding one of these sleepers at the wide receiver position.
Notable sleeper hits in this analysis last week included Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Josh Reynolds, Tim Patrick, and Antonio Brown. Those four players were not heavily sought after in 2020 fantasy drafts, but they did perform admirably in Week 10.
So, let’s find out who could surprise the masses during Week 11.
Note: The selection of these 10 sleepers is assessed from a 10-team, PPR league perspective.
1. Marvin Jones (DET)
Game: Detroit Lions at Carolina Panthers (Sunday, 11/22, 1:00 pm EST)
Alas, Matthew Stafford has redeveloped a rapport with Marvin Jones. It took an injury to Kenny Golladay to do it, but for fantasy football purposes, who cares?
Golladay is trending to potentially miss another game in Week 11. His status is unclear. For Jones’ fantasy managers, that is appetizing. Carolina defends wide receivers rather well, allowing about 20 PPR points per game to the opposing team’s wideouts. For this game, though, Stafford’s darts must go somewhere. We think they hit Jones’ hands.
2. Michael Gallup (DAL)
Game: Dallas Cowboys at Minnesota Vikings (Sunday, 11/22, 4:25 pm EST)
Gallup has been fairly quiet in 2020, and the prospect of an upturn dwindled when Dak Prescott was injured. He’s a talented dude deserving of numbers akin to his stablemates, Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb.
The Vikings secondary isn’t too ferocious anymore as young cornerbacks have taken over the depth chart. They are developing, however, in Mike Zimmer’s system. The problem is that the Cooper-Lamb-Gallup trifecta is difficult to fully silence. Minnesota will give ample attention to Cooper and Lamb, so let’s roll with Gallup to add some points to your fantasy bottom line.
